A Critical analysis of Learner Management System using ST application
Abstract
The use of Learning Management System in Higher Education Institutions have generated a lot of debate in the research world. Not only in terms of enhancing students-learning capabilities but also in terms of its usability. However, challenges arise when communication between teachers and learners through the use of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) is not facilitated as it should. The objective of this study is to critically analyse the learner management system using structuration theory to understand the relationship between lecturers when using LMS. Engaging a qualitative approach, existing literatures around LMS were used to address the research problem. Structuration theory was used a theoretical lens to analyse the data from selected literature. Findings and recommendations of this study has been elaborated and presented.
