Abstract

In addition to the recovery of investmentï›1ï, interest should be earned on the unrecovered capital during the life of
the asset as a cost of ownership. The economic analysis should consider both capital recovery and interest. The
present worth of capital recovery and return is the same regardless of the pattern of capital recovery selected.
