TitleFDI Destinations and Inclusive Growth: An Analysis

AbstractThis is an attempt to investigate the region-wise interrelationship between FDI inflow and the parameters of inclusive growth. The paper is based on secondary panel data of two points of time, 2001 and 2011. Ratio method and compound annual growth rate (CAGR) is used region-wise among the variables of this study. The findings indicate that FDI inflow has been diversion from metropolitans region to small city regions due to good market size, educational infrastructure and physical development. So there are the influences of educational infrastructure or skilled population, physical infrastructure and market size on inflow of foreign direct investment.
